What is a Spirit
Club?
Spirit Clubs are a fun-filled, action-packed after-school program held in neighborhood homes for children in pre-school – K; 1st – 5th; and 6th – 8th grades. They teach basic Christian virtues, common to both Catholics and Protestants, in dynamic ways your kids will love! |

Where are they
meeting now?
Our first Spirit
Club started November 2007 in the Minnechaug
neighborhood of Glastonbury. Ten children
quickly mushroomed to 25 it was so popular!
There are now 7 clubs in 4 towns in the Greater Hartford region: Glastonbury, Avon, West Hartford and Ashford! Click here to see if one is close to you. |

Can you start a
Spirit Club in my
neighborhood?
Yes! We have trained
teachers ready-to-roll! All you have to
do is:
1. Address 50 invitations to the children
on your bus route or in your area (we
provide the invitations)
2. Open your home for the first month.
After that, typically the other parents
rotate hosting and bringing the snacks.
The first three months of Spirit Club
are free. After that, we ask parents to
pay $75/trimester voluntary dues to cover
part of the cost of the teacher, prizes,
and newsletter. |
